“Nonprofits Playing Moneyball” Twitter Town Hall

U.S. President of United Way Worldwide Hosted Twitter Town Hall with National Nonprofits to Discuss How Moneyball Can Improve Outcomes

On June 11th, U.S. President of United Way Worldwide and Moneyball for Government All-Star Stacey D. Stewart  hosted a Twitter Town Hall with leading nonprofits from across the country to discuss how they  use data and evidence to make smarter funding decisions and improve outcomes for young people, their families, and communities.  Others were encouraged to follow along and submit questions using #MoneyballChat.

The discussion, facilitated by Moneyball for Government,  focused on how nonprofits are improving outcomes by utilizing data and evidence. Participating nonprofits included Citizen Schools, LISC, New Profit Inc., Nurse-Family Partnership, Tulsa Educare, United Way Worldwide, and Venture Philanthropy Partners, among others, who all answered questions submitted by the Twitter community about their use of data and evidence to improve outcomes.
